Engel finishes third in the DTM
Maro Engel ends the 2025 DTM season third overall with four podiums. WINWARD Racing is also third in the teams’ standings.
The 2025 DTM season ended with the finale at the Hockenheimring. Maro Engel and Jules Gounon raced for Mercedes-AMG Team WINWARD. Engel took third in Sunday’s second race and finished the season third overall with 184 points and four podiums, just eight points behind champion Ayhancan Güven.
Jules Gounon, new to the team, took a pole position and three podiums in his first season with WINWARD Racing and finished ninth with 142 points. In the teams’ standings WINWARD Racing was third behind Manthey and Schubert Motorsport.
The team goes into the 2026 season with Engel and Gounon.
