The DTM is without doubt one of the racing series with the greatest international appeal after Formula 1. Founded in 1984 as the German Production Car Championship, the DTM has grown over the decades into a real crowd puller, not only in Germany but worldwide. Since 2021 WINWARD has been one of the established teams in the series and proves time and again that team spirit is the basis for consistently strong performances and success.
In the 2026 season WINWARD Racing ran two Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo: the #80 in Ravenol colours with Maro Engel and the #48 in MANN-FILTER livery with Jules Gounon. Maro Engel won three races, at the Red Bull Ring, at Oschersleben and at the Hockenheim finale, and finished runner-up with 213 points. WINWARD Racing was second in the teams’ standings.
Maro Engel and Jules Gounon already raced for WINWARD Racing in 2025. Engel finished third overall with four podiums, and the team also ended the season third in the teams’ standings.

The GT3 category goes back to an initiative by Frenchman Stéphane Ratel and his SRO (Stéphane Ratel Organisation). Since the 2007 season the category has delivered thrilling racing with fascinating cars, built on a stable concept that is fair to all participating brands and keeps costs comparatively well under control. With the worldwide success of the GT3 class, the international importance of the Fanatec GT World Challenge, which grew out of the Blancpain GT Series, has also risen. It now has continental series in Europe, Asia and North America.
The GT World Challenge Europe consists of five sprint and five endurance races. In 2026 WINWARD Racing raced two Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo. In the Pro category Lucas Auer and Maro Engel shared the #48 of Mercedes-AMG Team MANN-FILTER, joined by Luca Stolz for the endurance races. After 2024, Auer and Engel won their second overall title, and the trio also took the drivers’ and teams’ titles in the Endurance Cup.
The #87 raced in the Bronze Cup with Marvin Dienst and Rinat Salikhov, joined by Gabriele Piana for the endurance races.

IMSA is the leading sports car racing series in North America, with a fast-growing fan base and audience from all over the world. The main series, the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, currently consists of 4 different classes that race at 11 of the most renowned circuits in North America and deliver intense competition. Since 2024 the season comprises 6 sprint rounds and 5 endurance races, including the Rolex 24 At Daytona, the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring and the Motul Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta, some of the biggest racing events in the world each year.
The #57 Mercedes-AMG GT3 of Russell Ward and Philip Ellis, joined by Indy Dontje for the endurance races, won the GTD title in 2024, 2025 and 2026. No driver pairing had done that in IMSA’s modern era since 2014. 2026 began with the class win at the 24 Hours of Daytona, with Lucas Auer as fourth driver, and ended with a first win at the Motul Petit Le Mans. In 2026 Winward also entered the #48 in the GTD Pro class for the first time.
In the Michelin Pilot Challenge, Bryce Ward drives the #57 Mercedes-AMG GT4 with Daan Arrow in 2026. At Watkins Glen, Ward won the GS class with Philip Ellis.
Faster together.
