Overall win at the Nürburgring 24 Hours
Maro Engel, Maxime Martin, Fabian Schiller and Luca Stolz win the 24-hour race in the Eifel in WINWARD Racing’s #80 Mercedes-AMG GT3.

WINWARD Racing has won the 54th edition of the Nürburgring 24 Hours. The #80 Mercedes-AMG GT3 in Ravenol colours, driven by Maro Engel, Maxime Martin, Fabian Schiller and Luca Stolz, went the distance without technical problems or penalties and was in front on Sunday morning.
The Verstappen Racing Mercedes-AMG had led the race for a long time until a broken driveshaft ended its run around three hours before the finish. After that the #80 defended the lead to the flag.
It is Mercedes-AMG’s first overall win at the 24-hour race since 2016 and the first for WINWARD Racing. For Maro Engel it is his second win in the Green Hell after 2016; for Martin, Schiller and Stolz it is the first. Maxime Martin follows in the footsteps of his father Jean-Michel Martin, who won the race in 1992.
